Building Red Board is a kind of wood plywood formwork widely used in construction projects. It is named because of its red surface (commonly known as "small red board" and "big red board"). Its core function is to provide a temporary support structure for concrete pouring, ensuring that the concrete forms according to design requirements while also withstanding construction loads.

The main material of building red board is whole core eucalyptus or pine. Eucalyptus becomes the main support of the inner core because of its small scars and good toughness, while pine is used for the surface to enhance the corrosion resistance. Some products utilize a pine-eucalyptus composite structure, balancing strength and durability. The boards are flat, lightweight (low density), easy to handle, and resist deformation. Their strength meets the requirements of high-rise building and bridge construction. Adaptable to different climatic conditions, the thermal conductivity of wooden formwork is low during winter construction, which can play a role in heat preservation and maintenance.
